Meet Darrin Storms, DDS

Dr. Storms grew up in Siloam Springs, attended the University of Arkansas, and is pleased to practice orthodontics here at home in Northwest Arkansas.

Education and Experience

After graduating from Siloam Springs High School, Dr. Storms received his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science from the University of Arkansas. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis, where he graduated with honors.

He then continued his education at Jacksonville University Dental School of Orthodontics, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S.) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Storms attends many Continuing Education courses each year, has completed the required courses at the Kois Center in Seattle, and is a Kois Recognized Orthodontic Specialist.

Affiliations & Memberships

Dr. Storms is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA), Arkansas Association of Orthodontists, Southwest Society of Orthodontists (SWSO), and the Northwest Arkansas District Dental Society (NWADDS).

Dr. Storms is the Past President of the Arkansas Association of Orthodontists and the Northwest Arkansas District Dental Society.  He is currently the State Director for the Southwest Society of Orthodontists.

Awards

As an honors graduate at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Dr. Storms was inducted into the Richard Doggett Dean and Marquerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society. Dr. Storms was also awarded the National Council Fraternal Achievement Award from the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.

Outside the Office

Dr. Storms can often be found volunteering his time and financial support to various NWA programs and fundraisers. You've likely seen the Storms & Swiderski Orthodontics logo in the outfield at your child's game or on the t-shirt of your school's fundraiser. Dr. Storms understands the value of and is committed to our youth and adolescent programs in NWA.

Dr. Storms, and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of Will and Sarah. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends and are avid supporters of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Go Hogs!
