Your Springdale Orthodontist
Dr. Darrin Storms grew up in Siloam Springs, attended the University of Arkansas, and is pleased to practice orthodontics here at home in Northwest Arkansas.
After graduating from Siloam Springs High School, Dr. Storms received his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science from the University of Arkansas. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis, where he graduated with honors.
He then continued his education at Jacksonville University Dental School of Orthodontics, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S.) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Storms attends many Continuing Education courses each year, has completed the required courses at the Kois Center in Seattle, and is a Kois Recognized Orthodontic Specialist.
Springdale Braces
Springdale braces at Storms Orthodontics combine a proven approach with modern, self-ligating technology. Brackets attached to your teeth hold an archwire that applies gentle pressure, gradually moving your teeth into place. Braces handle a wide range of concerns, from a few crooked teeth to complex bite corrections.
Our self-ligating metal braces are made from high-grade stainless steel and use a built-in device instead of elastics to hold the wire. The main advantage is fewer adjustments, which means fewer visits to our Springdale office, and with no elastics there is less plaque build-up around the brackets.

Springdale Invisalign
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners, made of a comfortable plastic and customized to fit snugly over your teeth, to gradually straighten your smile. You will generally switch to the next aligner in the series every one to two weeks, and the aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day, coming out only to eat, drink, brush, or floss. Wearing them as directed is what keeps treatment on schedule.
Teens have an option built for them. Invisalign for Teens includes compliance indicators in the aligner material that fade with wear. Invisalign works best for many of the most common orthodontic issues, but it is not the right fit for every complex case, and your free exam is how we determine your eligibility. What to Expect at Your First Visit in Springdale
Your first appointment is a free, comprehensive exam of about an hour. We review your treatment options and answer your questions, and we may reserve an additional 30 minutes for digital X-rays, digital photos, and 3D scanning for study models. Those records let us plan your treatment carefully before anything begins.
